Andorra Mountain Biking - Natural Singletrack in the Sun 2011 Drift HD170
Andorra Mountain Biking - Natural Singletrack in the Sun 2011 Drift HD170
A great video showing some of the amazing natural singletrack trails in Andorra in the Pyrenees. Solo guest Ben was lucky enough to get a guide to himself for a few days in September 2011 - and had a fantastic time riding the dusty autumn trails under blue skies! Add a great soundtrack featuring Guillemots and Pretty Lights and this is a fab little movie...

The Pyrenees Mountains: Climbing Andorra's Coma Pedrosa
The Pyrenees Mountains: Climbing Andorra's Coma Pedrosa
The highest mountain in Andorra, the Pic de Coma Pedrosa, turns from a moderate hike to a difficult climb half way up the Pyrenees' mountain, yet no climbing equipment is necessary. Unable to calculate the mileage of the trail (in American hiking miles), I estimate the 2942 meter mountain is about a five-mile hike one-way.

This remix is filled with chopped-up vocals and glitchy rhythms, occasionally flirting with original synth line. Wanted to share here. Enjoy!

Volcom Europe 2012 PBRJ Tour - Grandvalira, Andorra
Volcom Europe 2012 PBRJ Tour - Grandvalira, Andorra
The 2012 Volcom's European Peanut Butter Rail Jam tour started off with a bang in the amazing Andorran resort of Grandvalira. At a separate and dedicated location, the Sunset Park was the place to be on Saturday 21st January where 85 riders hit the PBRJ setup that Trujji and his team of shapers had prepared for them. Two boxes and a giant beer can (non alcoholic of course!) got attacked and destroyed by the riders, coming mostly from Andorra and Spain. Despite the short distance drive from the French Pyrenees, only 3 riders made the drive from France, most of the others missing an impressive and fun contest. The sunset park isn't named like that for no reason: it opens at 1pm and closes around 9pm, lit up by stadium-like lights that give you the opportunity to continue riding after a full day hitting the slopes, on bad weather days or even after finishing work! Thanks to the sun and not so cold weather, a crowd of about 300 people enjoyed watching the PBRJ with burgers, hotdogs and Volcom's traditional sweet giveaways! They all cheered during the finals especially when some riders where throwing their last chance tricks. Hugs and friendly snowballs where exchanged during the prize ceremony especially when Luis Sanz and Adan Baserba battled their 3rd place ex aeqo by playing Rock-paper-scissors!! Yes that's the spirit! The day ended with everyone's smile at the restaurant and bar of the Hotel Peretol literally attached to the ski lift where day chilling and après-ski are ...

Nike Chosen Series - 07 Spain/Andorra
Nike Chosen Series - 07 Spain/Andorra
The sun blazed all day over the classic ski resort of Vallnord, Andorra for the 7th Stop on the Nike Chosen Series. On a South facing slope the local ASP shaper crew worked tirelessly to get the kicker (15m to the sweet spot) riding well for all the competitors that turned up to show their skills, while MC Aitor Gonzalez and the park DJ Krapulia made sure it was the hottest place on the mountain that day. With all riders getting into the session Xavi Rodriguez took Most Creative with an old school Suitcase Air and a super inventive BS Rodeo 5 Nosegrab. Josep Falga stood out with an inverted front 5, an Indy 5 and FS 7 Melon and ultimately claimed Best Style. The Best Female award went to Beth Climont Gerie showing style with a BS 3 and a Tailgrab; but with consistency, style and a multitude of switch tricks it was Bernat Ripoll who bagged the coveted Most Valuable Player (MVP) with SW BS 7 Stalefish, BS 5 Indy, SW BS 7 and FS 5 and in so doing earned his place at the Nike Chosen Sessions in April. RESULTS Best Overall (MVP) - Bernat Ripoll Most Creative - Xavi Rodriguez Best Style - Josep Falga Best Female - Beth Climont Gerie

The Crapheap Challenge 2009 - Drive to Andorra!
The Crapheap Challenge 2009 - Drive to Andorra!
In August 2009, myself and a load of mates bought crap cars for no more than £300 and traveled from the UK, down to Barcelona and home again over a period of 2 weeks - we called it The Crapheap Challenge 2009. On day 10 of the trip we decided to drive to Andorra. I was filming the entire trip and managed to get some stunning scenery on camera! This is the drive to and from Andorra that was produced as part of the DVD which was made for everybody to remember the trip by! Below is a load of words that pretty much sums up the entire trip, enjoy! 3350 miles, one flat tyre, two shreaded tyres, one completely busted clutch, one smashed window and buckled passenger door, oil, coolant, baguettes, ham, cheese, Philadelphia spread, burgers, sausages, numerous McDonalds visits, 50+ cans of energy drink, breath-taking views, horns and sirens, many teeth and 150 hour-long video tapes spread over five cars with ten different cameras... With camera work by Jonny Jones - www.jonnyjones.co.uk - as well as the participants themselves, watch as this group of friends travel from the UK, down through France, into Barcelona city centre and home again - driving through some breath-taking views! This year The Crapheap Challenge decided to raise money and awareness for Taking Steps for Georgia - the charity for Georgia Head who suffers from Cerebral Palsy. We want to say a big thank you to everybody who kindly donated to this fantastic cause! The Crapheap Challenge 2009 was proudly supported by ...

Andorra Mountain Biking June 2011 - Day One
Henning, Roger, Jamie, Trevor, Sam and Duncan were Singletrack Safari's first guests of 2011 in Andorra - here is their first day of riding! We undertook a bit of a challenge - we rode a route we'll be calling "The Hard Way" from now on - which takes you to the top of Vallnord Bike Park without using the lifts! They did brilliantly - and got a rather epic decent as a result....
